Graduate Finance Assistant | Finance (6 Month Contract)
Due to company growth we require a go-getter Finance Assistant to join our busy finance team in Edinburgh. As part of the small finance team, you’ll play an integral role by supporting the Finance Manager and the wider office functions.
We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to crunch the numbers but ditch the neckties.
You’ll be able to make a real impact quickly by being on hand to help the team reach tight deadlines. This is a great opportunity to gain all-round finance experience by being exposed to the following:
- Accounts Payable
- Paying employee expenses
- Reconciling company card statements
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Reconciling customer statements
- Assist with the preparation of VAT Returns
- Assisting the finance manager with monthly management reporting
- Ad-hoc finance duties as required

Managing all of the above takes strong organisational and communication skills. We’re on the lookout for someone who thrives working in a fast paced, agile environment and gets a real kick out of helping the team succeed. IZettle Wouldn’t have been as successful if it wasn’t for our awesome colleagues, so it’s really important to us that you’re a team player. Ideally you’ll also have experience in the following areas.
- Excel experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software would be beneficial (e.g Xero)
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Great attention to detail
