Senior CRM Specialist

We are looking for an experienced CRM professional determined to make our fast-growing user base of iZettle merchants get a great start and stay loyal! The CRM Specialist will be part of an international Marketing team based in Stockholm.

You will be part of our Customer Relationship Management team, together with CRM specialists, marketing communication creators, copywriters and customer self service manager where your role is to create a great communications experience for all of iZettle’s users and help enable the best relationship possible with them. The main important channel is email, and ahead we’re looking to explore text messages, in-app and push notifications too as supporting channels.

Business, but not as usual

To succeed in this role you are dedicated to make an impact on iZettle user’s behaviours by setting and implementing the right strategy for automated communication. With several years of experience of working in a both operational and strategic CRM role, you know what strategy to take to create long-lasting relationships.

You’ll be setting a strategy and implementing automated and ad-hoc communication to make sure all new users gets the best experience when they are new to our service, to make sure they stick around and grow with us. Also that they are kept informed about the latest developments in our products throughout their whole user lifetime with iZettle.

You will:

  • Develop and implement strategic automated communication projects, which develop our users to hit targets for activation, retention and growth globally.
  • Review existing communications with intention to come up with projects on how to improve and increase their contribution to reach of targets.
  • Follow-up on contribution to the CRM team KPI’s around activation rates, retention, product adoption, revenue per user and growth.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to make sure you’re aligned with product roadmaps as well as tactical and strategic input
  • Take part in the investigation and implementation of new communication channels
  • Making sure that we are utilising our Marketing tools to get maximum return of investment and efficiency

We believe that you have +5 years of experience from Marketing/Marketing Automation/CRM/Campaign Management or related area and preferably experience from Marketing Automation and/or CRM Software (e.g Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar). We are looking for someone who passionately believes that customer communication is a product in itself and one of the most important channels to set and maintain the relationship with our users, to drive activation and behaviour, loyalty, engagement, up-sell and retention. You like to play the long game, creatively building  great communications carefully & with relevance, instead of chasing short-term wins. You have an autonomous working style and strive in a fast-paced work environment but also enjoy working cross-functionally to share. You are curious about understanding our users from every angle, with a data driven analytical mindset, and advocates for their needs when working with other teams and stakeholders internally to drive user-centricity. Your motivation lies a lot with making the life as an iZettle user easy, reliable and inspiring and we believe that you are passionate of driving change. You are fluent in English and your communication skills are excellent.
